Looks ermmm interesting.... Not really my cup of tea with the matt black body work and orange wheels but it's not a bad looking bike. Least it will allow you to be on the road whilst waiting to do your test.

And what do you mean it's not running right? What's up with it?

Yea...thats a pointless respray.

Running rough? Crap starting? only hitting 60mph? What type of not running right?

yea the paint is dogshit looks like its been painted by nursery kids
and theres deep scratches all over like someone gone at it with a knife lol
but im not bothered about the paint and bodywork its my first time so im gonna do what i can to sort it out
still keeping it black and orange hopefully but its gonna be alot different to any others in that color scheme
gonna go with satin black and orange or maybe ninja green as i like the color

and the runnin not right bit heres the problem
the carbs are blocked up with alot of gunk and dirt due to there being rust inside the tank along the back bone, im gonna try to get it sorted if not ill have to get a another one but its not that bad so i reckon i can sort it (theres no seal round the cap so got another one to go on )
and got a few large inline fuel filters to put on aswell when ive done that bit no doubt ill find more problems as i go along

i did know it was a none runner before i got it but ive still got a bike to potter around on till its done

I never got the whole thing about Monster stickers myself: I can understand wanting a race rep, but this isn't it.

It's a nice-looking bike, otherwise: I even like the orange and black colour scheme. Trying to make it look like a mini-Kawasaki is just bit odd, in my opinion.
Still, on the up side, you've done a tidy job of it, and because of that, it looks infinitely superior to many other examples out there.

Thumbs up, generally, it's just not to my taste.

was gonna stick with the orange to start till i priced up the match
basically ford st orange was nearest match and nearly £40 a can
i thought naaaah
this is also my first attempt at anything like this so didnt want to spend a fortune incase i messed it up
which i have here and there but im happy with it up to now
just couldnt afford to get it done proffesionally
so used aerosol cans in my shed
it was fun to do to be honest although frustrating when it messes up

Yes, support the bike ie with a jack or something to allow you to remove the front wheel,

remove the wheel, put the axle back in place and bolt it up hand tight, then rest the axle on an axle stand.

Otherwise find somewhere to hoist the front end up by the top yoke with a ratchet strap (garage rafters etc)

I think it looks pretty good but then I like monster. You should get some good photos of it and send them off to monster, I bet they'd send you a crate or 2 of the stuff!

May I ask what paint you bought?

I'm thinking of doing my frame on my bike.
