New to this forum. Thought I would introduce self....

Name: Derek

Bike: Honda Shadow VT750

Married: Yes for many years now. with a five year old who is desperate for me to get him leathers and a helmet.

Age: Mid life crises. Not to far from the 1/2 century

Full Bike Licence: At this moment about 8 weeks. Finally got round to it. But I had been riding, when you could, a 250 with L plates many years back..

Favourite Bikes: These days large lumpers that come into the cruiser category. Did all the speed stuff long time ago.

Bikes I would like to own: See above. But could easily be drawn to a Suzuki GT380 from my speed era.

Favourite Books: The Hobbit, Lord of The Rings. Says it all really

Favourite Films: Still Crazy, The Commitments.

Favourite Music: NOT Country and Western, NOT Thump Thump either.

Personal Qualities and flaws: Too many to mention.

Personal Philosophy: No religion. Live and let live until you break the law and then don't complain if you get caught.

Pet Hates: Lane Discipline Mad Car Drivers in Particular.....

Well thats about it.. Next stop looking for ride outs on the forum.
