As some of you may know, i have been posting topics up about gsxr mirrors or similar, well i have finially read that some people have been able to mount the gsxr mirrors. i must admit not to a bandit, but this is were i now ask for the pros to step up Smile
if you give this a quick read you will see how it has got my attention

https://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/topic/31665-gsxr-mirrors-on-6th-gen/

after reading that i found out that someone had then designed a similar mount (copying the thurn mount) so it'l be a quick bolt on job, but unfortunatly that was about 2 years ago and they wont even consider doing that again because he sent it off to get manufactured for a few people and he couldnt be bothered to do that again and the company thurn dont just sell the mounts

so this goes out to the pros......for cash and beer, if anyone could make a mount similar for the gsxr to bolt onto that incorporates and hides the wires aswell

plus any advice and if annyone already knows of a similar mount that i could use would be very much appreciated
im very eager to get gsxr mirros fitted Smile

many thanks
Andy

haha, well brought up, it is the same as other posts, its a bandit gsf 650 sak9

think you could do it?lol

can't believe there is nothing already out there for just a mount that would open up doors and sales for people to mount the gsxr indicator mirrors

just been looking through hein gerick and demon tweeks to se if they have anything similar to the thurn mounts...but they don't,lol

surely it casnt be that hard to mount some universal indicator mirrors to the bandit,
https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorcycle/Bodywork/Mirrors/378/0/14489

i'd almost assume the gsxr mirrors would be a straight swap with bandit ones,

why don't you just buy some mirrors and then make it work.
if this is what you think of a mod for the pro's then, you must live a pretty sheltered life,

suck it up and get to it man!!

i am a wuss when it comes down to mods on a new bike, but the angle that the mirrors are on the bandit are totally different for the faired bikes, so if i was to put others on like on demon tweeks they would pointing towards the ground....stooopid suzuki baing awkward on the bandits, lol

something similar to this pic. i would need a mount that sticks out from the fairing, that has a more flat surface for the gsxr mirror to mount on to make the angle more correct, but however instead of there being just the one hole, have 2 mounting holes for the gsxr mirros to screw into.
plus be able to feed the wires through it aswel

if that helps at all? Smile

oooooh, just found something that might help, someone has done something similar with an sv

https://www-user.tu-chemnitz.de/~lamat/mod_gsxr_mirrors_de.html

basically a neater/more secure version of that, which would hide the wires etc Smile

Right.

But those GSX-R mirrors are fugly anyway, and will look doubly stupid on a Bandit.
