Hello, i have an sr50 which has been running great for the past 9 months or so.

I last started the bike yesterday and let it warm up. However, today it decided not to start.

Ive gone through the usual checks - fuel, oil, spark, compression. all seem fine.

However the bike refuses to start. worse more, there is now a somewhat high pitched 'squealing' sound some the exhaust also, which only decided to start a while after trying the rectify the bikes problem.

Has anyone else experienced similar or has any ideas of the problem?

i appreciate any help available. Thanks.

well the engine does turn over when using the starter, where its stuck or not i'm nor sure, however the kick start doesn't start the bike either. =/

Would squealing from the bearing just start within a matter of seconds?

Also, surely the engine would still run with worn bearing? considering it was fine when i left it and now has an inability to start?
