I now have two paddock stands, one cost me 97 euros, the other I found in my daughter's garden today.

Totally irellevent, just the sort of crap I find interesting when I'm this pissed Smile

Could that be modified to use on the front forks?
They sell ones for the front which has different adaptors but are they any narrower or could these ones be used?

do they look trusty to hold up your bike? or is it a leave on the paddock for 5minutes and you hear a massive bang and find your bike on it's side?

Is it any good for my DRZ? Have to use a wooden stool at the minute, does the job but I wouldn't mind something more practical.

Ahh.. well a paddock could come in handy when lubing the chain as at the moment im lubing half a chain then lifting the back up whilst trying to somehow kick the tyre round whilst trying not to drop the bike then doing the rest of the chain.. hardwork Laughing

What bike do you have? Does it have a grabrail?

I lube my Hornet chain on it's sidestand. I grab the grabrail, pull i towards me (sidestand on my side) and then rotate the wheel with my other hand.

Does make it easier, but I'd save up and get something stronger!
