OK, since joining, ALL I have ever seen in the location map of people's profiles is a blue rectangle with a little red cross in teh corner, and a red dot that suggests its 'my location'.

I sort of presumed that this was the error default if the person who'se profile i was looking at hadn't got a recogniseable location in it...... but recently looked at one that should have been, and still saw the blue rectangle & dot!

Whats the story?

Eg: some-one whose location was 'New-Zealand', I sort of guessed the distance between Nuneaton & Kiwi was to great for the map to show half the world, while Snowie has put Leicester/Nuneaton in hers, so probably fireid the computer-sbrain.... like any-one elses she meets TBH.... but whats going on?

The map takes its location from the postcode you enter on your profile, not the text field. You don't have to use your own, just use something close, like CV1 1AA (should be the main post office in Coventry)

Sorry to hijack, but is there a way to see the map with all members dots at once? I know you can just go onto each profile and see but is there like a "View All" type facility?

No. For the longest time there was an option on the menu for it, but it never worked (as far as I can remember). Anyhoo, it'd just show a yellow map of the UK Smile

There has been maps made were you add yourself to them, but I think they fizzled out. Smile
