Ok, some people might have heard of this, others may not, but if you cant afford a £1000+ air brush design or even a £500 standard spray job you now have a solution.....vinyl wrap thats right wrap you entire bike in vinyl!!!! in all kinds of patterns colours even some 3d carbon fibre designs ....

I have a 2008 Gilera Sc 125...was considering getting this done in matte black....this picture is an example on another bike though

Heres a few links for examples and places that do it....
https://www.bikeskinz.com/customdesign.htm
https://www.powersportswraps.com/vinyl-styles/vehicle-wraps/18/14
https://www.touge.co.uk/custom-vinyl-wrap-59-c.asp

Just checking if anyone has an opinion or a picture or two of their vinyl wrap Very Happy

I was going to do that with my daughters scooter.
Would be easier than having it sprayed and stickers made for the flower design she wanted.

In the end i sprayed it coffee and cream colours instead Razz

I'll take a few pics tomorrow then.
It just a Peugeot Vivacity scooter that was scratced to fuck and sprayed with primer only when we got it.

Sanded it all down and resprayed it.
Used spray cans but it looks 100x better than when we got it and daughter loves it.
I noticed today that the carb seems to be leaking fuel. About 1 drop every 2 seconds so i'll have to look at that tomorrow aswell.

Pay attention.

A decent wrap will cost you about the same as a spray job.

WOW that your bike ? and yeah i read alot about bad wraps, people who do there own often go wrong, but i have seen some go very well that are done at home.
i even seen proffesional shops do it and cut it and stick other pieces over the top making a right mess!!! and refuse refunds!!! Evil or Very Mad

personally i think they can look amazing but then again so do some sprays ... :/

Yes. Spent a few weeks getting it done.
Had to fix the carbs and get a new front brake caliper but did that in between sanding down all the panels and spraying them.
It's not the greatest paint job but it looks ok.
It's a girls bike and i think it looks nice.
We only paid £100 for the bike because it was a total wreck. It's a 2007 bike so it was a bargain i think and it turned out really nice and she loves it.

This one was parked in the guys front garden with a for sale sign on it.
So i went in and asked how much he wanted. He wanted around £150 he said and when i said i had £100 on me and would pick it up in the evening he said ok Razz

Got another one in the back garden now. 2000 model in green. That set me back £75 but it needs a little more work. Possibly a new engine.
