Although they arent on show i thaught i might as well try to cover them in blue tubing to go with the colour scheme Idea ...Then i looked at shrink wrap and other types of tubing but NON! will fit over the connectors and fit tightly on the wiring? any idea's?

Most connectors can actually be removed form the wires without cutting them.Put a tiny screw driver in a lever them out, remembering the order etc, put some heat shrink over the cables then put the connector back on. It would be a shit load of work, but some people seem to enjoy that crap! The more sensible option would be a roll of blue electrical tape.

If they aren't on show, why would you want to put yourself to the trouble of trying to get them to tie in with your colour scheme?

If it's the main wiring loom then it should already be covered with loom tape. You can probably get coloured loom tape.

I would take the old stuff off first, new tape is unlikely to stick to the old stuff too well and it's hard to clean without killing it.

Its kind of like, why do people clean car engines till you can see your reflection, then put a bonnet over it ?
