Could anybody recommend a polish for my moped plastics.

Just looking to get a nice shine to it.

Thanks.

Simoniz original wax polish (in a tin) + Elbow grease is about the best you could use.

Fucking hard work but you don't need to do it very often. Also works on the screen and black bits.

Yes, but not on the decals or screen, it'll damage them.

Try polishing a bit first, you might be surprised. You only need T-cut if they are badly faded or scratched. Avoid using it if you can because it removes a layer of paint every time you do.

I use asda spray furniture polish about 50p a can.

The best I ever came across was Ronuk furniture and floor polish (no longer available).

of course you can pay a lot more for branded car polish or even more for a specialist bike polish.

whats in a car polish that you don`t get in a furniture polish anybody know??

Get a decent set of Autoglym, it's about 20-30 quid and contains allsorts, lasts forever and is probably the best stuff. Karma

I use a bottle of cheap turtle wax polish, I have been recommended mer polish several times but have never tried it.

I then use Mr sheen to wax it, does an awesome job Mr. Green .
Cuts through grease and dirt too Thumbs Up .

I use mer, you can polish your glass/plastic screen etc with it too. Good stuff. Also unless the bike has managed to get filthy, I just use Auto GLYMS showroom shine which gives a nice easy gleem without too much elbow grease.
