Hello all. After settling on a price for my insurance, I am left with about £100-150 to spend on the bike (Bandit 600 K2). I am after buying some extras, and would appreciate some suggestions. I have serviced it, so oil, filters, brakes and plugs have been done. Carbs were also cleaned and balanced. Valve clearances will be done shortly.

So, what you got?!

Go for a fcuk off ride and use the money for petrol. You dont look at the bike when your riding it do you.

Thumbs Up

Gentle ripping on the sides of your tyres, obtainable at a trackday Wink.

Spend it on your next set of tyres or chain and sprockets, fit some braided lines and overhaul your brakes or buy some sexy rear sets.

If you want to gay it up then some mini indi's, screen, dual headlights, solo seat cowl etc etc.

Just put new tyres on and overhauled the brakes, forgot to mention.

Some good suggestions coming in though! Currently looking at braided lines, undertray with LEDs. I'll check out single seat cowl. As for rear sets, you do know it's only £150 max!? Just had a quick look and they are going for £300!

Track day sounds good, but I'd be too afraid of binning the bike.

Trackdays are a bit like road riding in relation to crashing.

Try and go a lot quicker than you have gone before, generally be a twat and you'll crash. Though, of course while speeds are faster on trackdays, there's a lot less road furniture, on coming vehicles etc.

Take it sensible and only get a little faster at a time and you'll be fine.
