Just like everyone asked you in the other thread, what do you mean by black capping a scooter? People might be able to answer you if they know what your question is. Thumbs Up

I don't know if that is what he is meaning by black capping, as in his other thread he first asked how to start his scooter without the keys, and then asked how to black cap it. He's not going to get told by anyone how to black cap it unless he tells us what he means by black capping. Laughing And he'll never get told how to start it without the keys, he'd be better off starting to walk to where ever he needs to get to, as he'll get there quicker than if he waits around for an answer that he's never going to get. Laughing

If anyone will help him really depends on what he means by black capping. If it is something which isn't like hotwiring a bike then if anyone knows I'm sure he'll get help, but for people to be able to help him he needs to write the question so that people can understand what he is asking, as no one really knows what black capping is (or if they do they're keeping it a secret as well Laughing ) so it's quite hard to answer a question when we don't know what the question means.

My friend told me black caping has something to do with messing around with the ignition and using any old key to keep the bike running so it seems like a form of hotwiring to me but my mate might of been giving out random "im brilliant and know everythink lectures".

I'm not certain what it means but i think that Some pins in the ignition are removed so any key(or anything will turn it) and you can't tell that it has been done if you do it properly. Easier to buy a new one (only around £12?)

Or you can just hammer a screwdriver into the lock and do it like that.

Ok picked this up when i was in the hood:
First find the headlight coil, and use wire snippers on the yellow and green wires ONLY.
Then take a soldering iron and melt the fairing on the front until you see the ignition barrel.
Take a fine saw, and saw in half the ignition barrel. ere you should see a black wire.
Take the black wire, cut it, and solder it to the indicator relay.
This should jump the bike into starting.

Don't bloody tell people how to do it! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

nah, you just get a lit blowtorch and weld through the tank. It only works if the tank makes a sloshing noise when you rock the bike back and forth.

If he wants to hotwire a scooter he's probably just a kid, and what's a kid gonna do with a stolen scooter? As I think about it stealing this scooter would be the best thing for him as he would probably get caught very quickly and he'd get his lesson.
