Hey,
Is there anywhere to get connectors without paying through the nose for them?
I have found this box of assorted connectors for 10 bucks online (13'ish with postage):

https://www.crimpterminals.co.uk/images/uploads/at27.jpg

Is there anywhere I could maybe get fewer but without paying an obscene amount (halfords takes the p*ss!).

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Best regards

Halfrauds are rip off bastards, look in your yellow pages for a local motor factors (supplier), they'll be much cheaper.

Last time I went to Halfords they didn't have the bits I wanted in stock, but the guy behind the counter told me they were supplied by a place just around the corner. Went there got them at cost/wholesale price, never been back to halfords since Wink

Awesome,
there is a little shop down the road from me, i will give them a shot.
I was always under the impression larger companies should have the power to deliver products at a better price, unlike halfrauds who bag 5 random connectors and try flog it for £10, as if they are rare as rocking horse sh*t!

Hate'em i hate'em i hate'em *sighs*.

Bit like maplins!

i'd recommend these people https://cpc.farnell.com/duratool/d00371/spade-terminal-set-100pc/dp/TL11013
100 connectors for around 6-7 quid
or 500 for £14 https://cpc.farnell.com/_/026g/500-assorted-terminals-connectors/dp/AR71386 (& they always have sort of offer on)
or if you have a screwfix nearby https://www.screwfix.com/prods/15848/Electrical-Supplies/Cable-Accessories/Crimps-Terminals/Crimp-Terminals-500-Pieces
bit theres cheaper kits available..........
i think i paid around 30 quid for the kit i have, but that included a decent ratchet crimping tool..........
cheers,

This place is pretty decent.

IMO, you're better off buying lots in one go.
