Hello all. I’m trying to take the front wheel of to put a new tyre on it. I supported the weight of the bike then took the callipers off, took the axle clamp bolts off and loosened the axle nut. Supported the wheel with my foot and tried pulling the axle out. It came a little bit, but now, it will not move a mm!

Do you need a big Allen key to fit in the end and turn it?
I didn't have one big enough but found I could part-insert a wheel nut from a trailer, which happned to be the same size.

I don't think I need one, the manual doesn't say anything about it? However, it does feel like something else is still not lose. It just keeps turning around but remaining in the same position. Just won't pull through any more.

Problem solved. Put everything back together, then tried again, and it all came out!
