You could.... depending on how ingeniouse you wanted to be.
But I would have thought that as its EFi the black box for the squiters would control the ignition too? Probably use the ignition triggor sensor for the injection timing as well.
On the cheap, most cost effective way to make it run, would probably be to rip the squirters off it & fit old fasioned carbs and either cdi or points ignition.
Alternatively, but possibly more expensive depending on which bits of the efi & ignition electronics you need, would be to go for an aftermarket engine management system like a Mega-Squirt.
Last time I priced them up a self build mega-squirt ECU and interface lead (plugs into PC so you can map it your self, using downloadable base files for different engines) was about £200.
And whan I say self build, whay you got was a printed circuit board and a few bags of components for you to solder it to! Not even sure if it had an enclosure to put it in! Then you had to add your own sensors and sensor rings, injectors and flow meter etc, though most stuff took or provided signals from generic Ford or Boshe components, & mainly intended for car engines.
Not sure if they do a special one for bikes or what components would be needed for a bike system. But probably effof expensive & probably really only worth it if you are building something a bit more exotic and more highly tuned than a 15bhp single! ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
