Documents question

[Mitsobar]

Heya, just got my VC5 through the mail today for my first bike.

Couldn't help but notice the large red and blue colour bands assaulting the cover with the biggest saying "This document is not proof of ownership".

What's the deal there?, I thought that's what a VC5 was.

Hi

The registration document has never been proof of ownership, even if that is what people think if it as.

The DVLA are just making this more obvious.

All the best

I see, so its nothing to be concerned over.

Thanks

Hi

Even the old style V5 (replaced quite a few years ago) says that it doesn't list who is the owner. But it was hidden in smallish writing on the back.

All the best

I thought it was a V5C... but anyway - it's what it says on the tin - shows who the registered keeper is.

That is all
