I currently have an oxford stormex cover and it works fantastically, keeps the bike nice and cozy regardless of the weather.
However because it locks to the bike, is elasticated and basically is a complete pain in the arse to put on or off in the dark (black cover, black bike parts and no ambient light = a royal pita to see what is caught on what) it can take me anything from 20 minutes to 45 minutes just to get ready or pack up after a ride.
That delay means I don't make the most of it, I don't commute on it that often anymore as I get an extra hours kip if I take the car, when it's a sunny spell I don't get it out for a blast as it'll be raining again by the time I get ready. Basically my cover while being awesome for protection is a massive cba magnet.
So I was looking at getting something like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtube_gdata_player&v=A0-iDHcPCU0
so I was wondering if anyone here has one and how did they secure it as I can't bolt it to the floor (rented house) i'd probably just buy some marine ply and do what that guy did. Seems to be a hell of a lot quicker than having to fight an elasticated cover over my bike. ____________________ 2008 VFR800 VTEC |

Ive got the bike barn version, was pricey but really solid and heavy duty covering. Its done me for three years now and also doubles up as a good cat lounger in decent weather ____________________ Do not presume that I am male. |

Nice. Ideally I don't want it to be bigger than a car (has to fit within one of my allotted spaces), preferably the size of the bike itself give or take a few cm's.
The one in the video above is waaayyyy too big for the space I have ____________________ 2008 VFR800 VTEC |
