windows 7,all screens dark (fixed,motherboard fubar)

well just bought a new pc,installed win 7 ultimate

but the screens really dark,tryed every setting to try and ake it light,its starting to do my eyes in.

its nearly black and white,but no quite all the colours gone,more like drained away



te colour was fine this morning n my other pc on this monitor

Have you tried not failing?




Seriously check the cable into monitor and pc, press auto adjust on your screen.

If all the cable and software checks pass then try using the monitor on a different machine to rule that out

well tried taking out all the cables and putting them back in,using another monitor and different wire and its still got a blue tint

got all the drivers aswell,really annoying

will have to send it back,typical

You know, a monitor can display a blue or purple tinge when it is not properly connected to the computer..

Check power settings, it's not in some silly laptop mode is it? Tried uping the brightness on the monitor?

On the connectors, check no pins are missing or bent on both the cable and the pc and monitor.

Coloured tint is usually a connectivity issue.

connectors are all fine,tryed wigglying it to no change.

i bet its a fucked up onboard graphics card,typical as the pc's brand new
