A decent old style shooter?

After totally owning Painkiller on the hardest difficulty and all of the serious sam games can anybody recommend a shooter in the same vein.

I mean in the vein of the above, i.e. no silly key hunting, no fixing lifts and or equipment to progress, no puzzles just press and hold the button wear out the a,s and W keys. Until you are standing alone surrounded by 2-3000000 corpses. Something like the doom2 nuts mod

No stupid darkness everywhere like F.E.A.R and absolutely minimal or no escort missions.

I used to play doom online via ZDaemon. Very fun! Co-operative mode against the monsters was cool.


Anway. A few retro games I am playing atm which someone might like to play are:

Star Wars - Jedi Knight, Dark Forces 2;
Vietcong.

I am stuck at the swamp mission in vietcong. I just cannot see for toffee so haven't played it for a while.

If you mean real old:
Castle wolfenstien and the first Call Of Duty with expansion packs, Spearhead and alied assault. You can buy all three in one pack.

For me you can't beat COD 4 online for shootem ups. Make sure it's 1.6 patch.

Plenty of 50+ player team death match, grab the flag, plant the bomb and free 4 all matches. 50+ in the same map at the same time. seriously funny if you like being killed. You got to be pretty good to rise to the top. I have climbed to the top of COD4 and I find my self struggling to find any games to match it. COD5 COD6 the latest Medal Of Honour all trash.

Just wished they would release Halo 3 for PC. Great A.I in that game, the theme ia amazing too.
Anyway gunna be exchanging medal of honour tomoz, I never even finished the trash. Might go for one of above mentioned.
