Your eyes work by reading an image from your retina. If your eyes stay focused on something for more than about a quarter of a second this image 'burns' into your retina and you become incapible of seeing it. For this reason your eyes actually vibrate from side to side about 20 times per second to keep the image the image on your retina fresh by moving it to a slightly different position. If you stare at something for 20+ seconds the image will burn into your retina and surrounding areas and eye vibration won't be sufficient to prevent this. Here's a mind bender for you, which way is she spinning? Clockwise or anti clockwise?

It's predictably a trick and she's spinning both ways depending on how you look at it. Forcing yourself to see her spin the other way is difficult and doesn't usually last long.


By going cross eye'd so that you see 3images, then focussing on the middle one and adjusting the focus of your eyes (how cross eye'd you are) You can make the middle image come into true focus and become 3d!
This works as the 2 images are photo's from different angles, going cross eyed makes each eye see a different image giving stereo vision.

you don't need to force yourself to get her to spin both ways
if you think she's spinning on her left leg she goes clockwise
if you think its her right leg she goes counter clockwise Thumbs Up

That explains why some people's eyes noticably vibrate when they're off their tits on Es. Surprised

That's very likely due to pupil dilation. Large pupils let through more light and in a brightly lit room a larger saccade would be needed to stop the image burning in. As muscles are limited in speed of movement they would be vibrating slower due tot he larger distance making it all the more noticeable. You can actually feel the effect yourself as your vision starts to blur a bit in bright rooms and your eyes feel really fucking tired the next day Laughing

In this optical illusion, if you follow the movement of the rotating pink dot with your eyes, the dots will remain only one color, pink.

However, if you stare at the black + in the center, the moving dot will turn green.

Keep concentrating on the black + in the center of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear and you will only see a single green dot moving in a circle.
