and the turbo busa I rode at the weekend, they wound the tuurbo up to 21psi and made

Shocked

oh but I beg to differ

it's my mate's bike and today IS the first time it has run with the turbo fitted

they did the article in Superbike but the turbo kit wasn't even delivered then

hopefully it will be ready to run for the shootout on saturday and then we'll know what it'll do - and I am owed a go on it when it's ready Wink

Sean is doing the build but it belongs to my mate Gaz

not sure which turbo it is but I don't think Sean will have anything to do with Mr Turbo, more likely a Velocity kit as he is the UK importer

they ran it with nitrous as soon as it was run in, just to see Rolling Eyes but it only had the gas fitted for less than a day and one dyno run

it was always going to be a turbo bike

he only had it for ONE DAY from new, it was collected, run in for 500 miles on the same day and taken to Big CC on the next day

but will no way do 205mph eh Wink Wink

btw go back to www.200mph.org.uk I think you can register now, 175 at the wheel is a reasonably fit busa and I'm sure you will be welcomed with open arms by those now terrified of the zx12r onslaught Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

the turbos are as docile as you like in the corners, I wouldn't like to ride one "on boost" in the corner as it were but below 6000 rpm it's a torquey pussycat

cracking the throttle open gives you half a second of warning as you can hear the turbo spool up before the clocks come up to say hi Cool
