hi,
have you had the carb off?
fwiw, i have owned a few chinese bikes & they all seem to have those cheap nasty carbs. (which are supposed be copies of mikuni's)
no harm in taking it off & cleaning it.
some of them have that strange "enrichening circuit device" which looks like a little hammer thing, & is controlled by the throttle & is supposed to inject a fine spray of fuel when the throttle is opened up wide but they always seem to be set up incredibly rich.(its only supposed to come into play at WOT, but if its too tight, it causes all sorts of problems)
iirc, loosening of the adjuster nut sorts it out, but tbh most of these carbs are ditched for a decent mikuni carb, usually 29mm, which is far easier to set up & actually makes the bike perform better & with an open air filter fitted, makes the bike go that little bit faster.
which spark plug are you using? & what is stamped onto the carb body?
cheers,
GAZ

check mixture? check for an air leak / cross threaded plug / split in manifold rubber or cracked exhaust ports. clean the air filter. If it's got an auto-choke it WILL most likely be that. Make sure you know for definite which way the choke operated if it's manual because on some of these bikes they're upside down compared to most setups. also check the valve clearances are roughly right
