OK so my bike sold and I found one that I want. I run insurance quote and what do I get? I get quoted over £1500 TPFT! Mad About a month ago I did the same thing and got £800.

Why the big jump??

C1H came out at 1500 and the B1 was about 8/900. At first the R6 was 800 then a few minutes later it became 1400 Confused

That online or phone?

I was getting quotes of 10k online but I'm a high risk and online is ever as good as phoning them up.

I pay 1.2k TPF&f or 2k for fully comp, but I happen to have 2 on going claims and no NCB Laughing

Oh FFS!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just run the quotes again:

1st attempt C1H - £2k
2nd attempt C1H - £1.5k
3rd attempt C1H - £900

The details were the same every time Neutral

I'll ring my current insurer and see if they can transfer the policy to the new bike

Are you actually paying that? Shocked

That's six months worth of insurance on the ER5, nearly a year on the TZR.

I have no years no claims, due to me going into the back of some woman last year, shes claiming £8,000 on whiplast? Pfft.

I'm 18, statisically most likely to crash.

And I decided to go for a big 600 straight away. Only 1 company would quote, so had to go for them. Love the bike too much.

Thumbs Up

Hmm, I have 2 on going claims, no no claims and pay less than you Laughing Or is that for fully comp?

I do have a year riding a 600 though, and that was renewal price (Which couldn't be beaten).

Doing quotes just online, especially for high risk people is never a good idea.
