cheap waterproof clothing

anybody got any ideas about where i can get some cheap waterproof overclothes? winter is smacking me around like a dirty little ho at the moment and i need to try and stay dry. i've got a massive frank thomas jacket which keeps me bone dry, but it's MASSIVE and would never fit in my top box despite my most length attempts. What i'm looking for ideally is:

cheap (very cheap, very very cheap, i'm poor)
waterproof (obviously)
thin enough to fold up and fit in a 37 litre top box (basically not padded will do)
pants and jacket, 2 piece preferable.

I know in lidl and places like that people tend to stumble across some decent bargains so i was hoping someones seen what i'm after!

i just bought a 2 piece set from halfords last night as i knew today was gonna be too much for my old set.

portwest there called which is pretty much on par with dickies, they coped very well today, the trousers were faultless and there was only slight seepage from the zip on the jacket but the textile jacket underneath handled that. My commute is 60 odd miles each day and considering it lashed it down all the way there and back i was pretty impressed considering they were only £13.99.

Could also try your local Army surplus store, or a Machine Mart / Screwfix / Tool Station if you have one.

...or a camping store, although they tend to be slightly more expensive
