please note that this bike is not a standard 400cc and is not for the faint hearted, as she is very fast, the engine and cdi have been re-mapped to 72bhp instead of the standard 59bhp,

ohh i wish it was that simple !! on a 400 o.O

Thats about a 20% increase in power. I'm surprised Kawasaki haven't snapped up his services for the development of their new one, I'm sure he could remap it to at least 250bhp.

You mean like this:

Quote:

Hi,
Looks like you've done a great job on the bike and i'm very interested.
Any proof of the claimed 72bhp? A Dynograph print out would back it up.
Or, is the 72bhp just a finger-in-the-air guess? It seems a little high for a 400.
Cheers,
Mistergixer.

Oooh, a reply:

Quote:

hello mate no cant find the paperwork as it was done in 2007 but im not the sort of person who has to bullshit bout what my bikes can do as i do this for a living and wouldnt stay in business very long if i did so yes she is as fast as i say as everything on her is race prepped

- kbuc9370

So i've asked:

Quote:
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
So what has actually been done to bring the power
up to 72bhp?
If i buy it, stick it on a dyno and it doesn't
make at least 70bhp will you give me a full
refund?
Rgds,

Mistergixer.

Hello there. I'm quite interested in your GSXR400.
Are your BHP figures accurate (have you dyno'd it?) or is it a rough estimate?

Also I'd quite like to know how you 're-mapped' carburettors as remapping is generally done with fuel injected bikes...

Many thanks.
Benson

Let's see what he says Thinking

What he has done is taken this

https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gallery%20%20A/Suzuki%20GSXR400R%2094.jpg

And turned it into this...

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v494/be1ly/new/ghastly.jpg

Isnt there a crime against such things?

I bet its a real head turner...... but then so is a car wreck!

Agreed.

Despite owning two litre bikes, if I had funds and a decent one came up I'd buy another ZXR. My one was a fantastic little bike.
