Nice bike. They are up for £6-6800 on ebay at a dealership, selling private you knock off about 15%.

£6400 -15% = £5440. Reckon he'd reasonably get £5500.

The 'extras' rarely make a bike worth more, just easier to sell, could possibly add a few hundred to the price if the bits are desirable and tasteful.

Sucks, it's a lovely looking bike.

eBay classifieds and autotrader are my first port of call when buying a car/bike. Just sold my GFs car though, most interest was generated via gumtree.

This can easily be the worst time of year to sell.

Most people are short of money because they're trying to buy Christmas presents and are absolutely not thinking about how nice it'd be to go for a ride, especially on a powerful shiny road bike!

Personally, I'd stick all the stock stuff back on and try and sell that separately.

Would give suggestions about where to sell, but just expect to get some -ve karma for the advice differing from your own Wink.

Been looking at Streets and the prices, with all that I reckon around £4900-5200 which would be strong money for a 2 year old ST with Christmas and winter coming up, £6k is very optimistic and it will never sell at that

The same probably applies but you're listing Street Triples.
The bike he's trying to sell is a Speed Triple Razz

I would guess that 6k is being optimistic.
If he won't listen then all i can suggest is that he puts it up for whatever price he deems fair and see what kind of offers he's getting there.

I agree with G that now is probably not the best time to sell a bike like that. I suspect not many people would buy a nice shiny bike just before christmas just to keep it in the garage till spring.
But you never know.

Autotrader has worked well for me in the past for selling bikes. Other than that maybe try ebay but the fees might be higher there.

New street triple are £6499 OTR.

As has been suggested put it back to standard.

Advertise it for £5100 ono.

Sell the extras separately, the new buyer may be interested in some of the extras.

Please don't give me negative karma, as I am exceptionally vulnerable and may self harm Wink

Quick look on Ebay completed listings shows one auction where a recent Speed Triple sold. That went for £5600 and had only done 1300 miles.
