Please help me!

Does anyone know if the Gilera 125 Scooter (Y reg) has headlights that automatically turn on or do they need to be manually turned on by the rider?

It's not that I have a problem with the bike, in fact I dont even own one!
I am just trying to establish whether or not the headlights come on automatically or if they need to be manually turned on.
Long story but i am attempting to find out whether or not a client was at fault for an accident and this is one of the angles I am hoping to use. If the lights come on automatically, the odds are that my client had his lights on!

Not turned on during the day shouldn't really be any excuse for a motorcyclist not to be seen.
