Had my pretty much brand new road legal pit bike stolen last night.
Cut straight through the chain..wheeled across the garden. Cunts.

Was stolen around the Maidstone area in Kent.

Quite gutted, i'll get a new one.. but the police said they have had a few bike thefts recently.

Its proper pissed me off, great little bike as well.

Thing is...theres a garage right next to it with a lot of expensive stuff in, GS500, GSXR1000, about £2000 worth of tools, drills and car sound system...and theres a Supra sitting right next to it with a tv and playstation on full show.

Youth these days (i say youth...looks like a proper bolt cutter job on my 18mm chain...)

Gutted Thumbs Down

Sorry to say it, but it sounds like someone knew exactly what they wanted and were to find it and when the owner was not around Sad .

Lets just hope they ride it on unfamilar land and come a croper, sustaining prolonged, painful, fatal injuries.

Unfortunately a lot of these sort of bikes get targeted, these and motocrossers are very popular.

I remember a few years ago warning my stepdad about it while he was proudly polishing his new motocrossers out the front of his house. Imagine my surprise when within a month two attempts had been made to nick them.

Anyone with these bikes needs to keep them out of sight so nobody knows they're at the property.

Say what you like about Sharia law, but they'd find it hard to work bolt cutters with no hands.

The cops, CPS and courts don't really give a stuff about property theft, but I'd like to see insurance companies using civil recovery to make these scrotes their slaves for live when they get caught. Just send a bailiff round every week to seize everything they've nicked - see how they like it for a change.

Saved my bike a few times!!

I will never own another bike without having some form of alarm on it!

could have sworn you said you kept it in the house ( I know I know for insurance purposes lol) but if so what have you said to insurance peeps as to how it got stolen ???

Shit luck fella these bikes are always a high risk, was always very security conscious when I had my moto. As said above hopefully they will come a cropper and hurt themselves

That truly sucks. I don't reckon my RXS is particularly likely to get nicked. However when I get my Bros tidied up a bit and on the road I'll be sure to get something like that Alarm for it. I put so many hours in to maintaining my bikes and I couldn't bare the thought of some little tosser running off with either one of them.

*i say easily, me personally... no i couldn't, but it wouldn't be difficult*

When I am rich, I am gonna buy a house in the chavviest part of the country, leave lots of chav scum desirables like pit bikes, small bikes, consumer electronics etc.
Set up some sort of net, cameras and lights etc to catch the fvckers.

Hand the footage and them over to the police and watch them get a caution.

Ive put a reward of £100 up for it...hoping it might tempt someone... might add an xbox 360 to the bargain.

Gutted mate, nothing worse than the feeling of finding out your bikes gone. Sadly there's no hope of plod helping you get it back unless they have video's of said bike pulling wheelies on you tube with face name and address of scrotes on the same vid.....

Wow, they cut through a huge chain :o Sorry about that man.

I have been on a fair few bike forums and a lot of bikes have been stolen in the past 2 months.

Please becareful guys, it's not nice to get anything stolen, particular our bikes.

Use extra secuirty, have lights turn on if anyone comes, have alarms dick locks and have your keys in the bedroom icnase your hosue gets robbed.

It does sound bad, but if your bike is chained up, then a non chained up bike is more likely to get stolen.

Anyway, I hope no bikes get stolen, but the reality is, there are lots of scum around, and thieving cunts at X mas.

Really? Small bikes like that are extremely nick-able. Young kids don't want to nick a big bike that will;
a) Be heavy to move and difficult to start
and
b) Kill them

Didn't stop them nicking my NTV600, which arguably ticks both boxes (reletive to the 125's they usually nick)

Oh and despite a police car seeing them riding it, they still got away with it. By the time the police had turned the car around the kids had ditched the bike and jumped into a garden. The police couldn't prove it was them apparently.

I got charged a fuck load by the police for the privilege too, think it was around £300 for storage and recovery. I guess my taxes don't go towards that bit of the police or something?

Shit makes me mad!

Sorry to read about the bike been stolen.

Check the local waste land, if these were pro thiefs they would have broke into the garage.

If you don't know who the local scorat are ask someone who does, I bet they will either have took it or know who did.

Hope you get it back as it does look like a fun machine. Thumbs Up
