Think its going to be completely one sided. No way can Harrison win, he was so lucky to win his last fight.
KO 3rd round by haye i reckon.
anyone going to watch it? sky box office 8pm tomorrow.

As David Haye said himself, this fight will be "as one-sided as a gang rape", there's no way I'm going to fork out on PPV for this fight. I could watch it on a free stream, but I'd rather be down the pub and download it on Sunday.

Pay for the fight guys!

I'm a huge boxing fan.

Haye is too fast for Harrison, but the only issue is Haye is no stamina and his chin is kind of weak.

However, Harrision does not have the tools to take advantage of that because his chin and stamina is shit too.

There'll probably be some free streams on myp2p or Veetle.

Bit of a joke fight really, think it's only been put on so haye can dodge fighting one of the Klitschko's for a bit. Don't pay for this shit boxing fans deserve some real fights not pr bullshit. Fraudley would never of beaten valuev he would've been crying in the corner. I seriously think Mr big talk Harrison would've struggled to beat Maccarinelli even with the weight difference and haye destroyed him before stepping up.

So is Haye actually a respected fighter, or one of those boxers who gets by with no 'real' opponents?

Bloody hard to say really, Maccarinelli was a class act at cruiserweight and haye destroyed him, at heavy he's not really had any good opponent's (there ain't many at the moment) valuev's a 7' 23 stone freak and he beat him over 12 rounds. I'd say he's a smaller version of bruno that doesn't back off when he's know's the other guys hurt.

i ain't passing proper judgement until he fights a Klitschko...

Haye is a good boxer but not that much respect in the real world.

As a heavyweight, he is one of maybe 5 or 6 now that do not come in fat.

He has speed, power and boxing skills, but has not fought a Klitcko who are Ukrainian boxers abit like Ivan Drago. Strong and big at 6'6 and 6'8

The 6 foot 8 guy won't be KO'd ever but is old at 38 or something. He is exciting and open

The slightly younger bro is more technical but boring.

If he fights and beats one of these guys, he will get a lot of respect. The Heavyweight boxing world is shit ATM.

Haye wants money and he has chosen steps to build up to getting more pay VS a Klit or fighting people like Harrsion who will take the way smaller cut.

Interesting.

Do you think he will eventually fight one of the brothers then? (Pretty good from what i've seen, pretty big & not clumsy like that Valuev)

As for the original fight, from what i've seen & read here, i think Haye wants it more. Looks like he will put his heart & soul into the fight, Harrison doesn't seem to bothered. Want Harrison to win tho, just for how cocky Haye is.

Also did boxing used to be this bad with all the pulling out, dodging, failed tests, not enough cash etc? (Was really looking forward to the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight.)

If he doesn't then it's all been for nothing, they're both knocking on now. I think it waldimer that fought lennox and if it hadn't been for a badly cut eye I'm not sure which way it would've gone.....

I want haye to win, yeah he's a cocky bugger but he promotes himself fed up with dodgy managers wanting a cut for doing bugger all and arranging bullshit fights if people call him a fraud at the end of his career at least he can't blame frank warren/don king he did it his way.

Boxing used to be great I got into it in the benn/whatson/eubank era no ducking just proper boxing.

American's think they own the sport and calzaghe could have made pots of money if he'd gone to the states after beating eubank but he was the belt holder they shoulda come to him, besides he sold 50k tickets fighting kessler at the millennium stadium when the fights in madison square gardens were selling out at 16k.

It's an american based sport and the longer the yanks are kept out of it the better......

Plugger ure getting a few things mixed up. Vitali fought lewis, but lewis was out of his prime years. Could have gone either way.

Calzaghe was anobody in the 90's and early 00's. 50k seats at low prices won't match a packed Msg which sellmseats for a shit load.

Calzaghe had the skills, and I am a fan, but you have to go to America if you want to make it, which let's say hatton finally did and Khan too where he made a lot of money. Same with lennox lewis.

I agree on the fact that eubank, benn and watson were great fights.

To misc, boxing on the whole is a niche sport, and has always had corruption and people picking fights and what not. However, back to other eras, you had atleast journeymen type fighters who were in shape, and a lot more names the fights were finally getting made.

Now we have haye, and the klit's and that's all.

Basically imagine the best 600 sports bikes and take away everyone out apart from a kawasaki ninja, cbr 600 and a r6. That is what heavyweight boxing is like now

haye should win, both are shite tho tbh haye thinks hes some kind of elusive fighter and fights with his hands low if you watch his fights hes always getting tagged only a matter of time till a decent punch lands.Fraudly doesnt deserve a shot at the title its a fucking joke. wladimir and vitali would FUCK both fraudly and haye up with ease. Wlad would keep haye at the end of his jab then throw a massive right hand down the pipe and its lights out haye, vitali would just walk haye down and pressure him then knock him out.

- was vitali and he was winning on the score cards till it got stopped !

- why should they have gone to calzaghe ??? america is the mecca of boxing like it or not ! why would a prime roy jones jr 1996-2002 come to fucking wales ? calzaghe only got 50k fans at the end of his career and kessler wasnt very good anyways calzaghes resume is weak.

It's an american based sport and the longer the yanks are kept out of it the better......

- yeah lets keep the nation that produces the best fighters out .......

I wouldn't be so sure about Haye winning. Yes he probably will but I wouldn't put money on it.

Harrison is a clever fighter. If he plays it right he has a decent shot at it. Harrison is 3 stone heavier also.

I wouldn't break out the champagne just yet. I still think Haye will win, but it isn't as close as other people think IMO.

I reckon Haye, by KO 2nd round.

Although I think Haye is gonna dance around Harrison, and pick him apart...I have a feeling Harrison will land one *belter* of a punch and rock Haye to shite and put him back to square one.
