Have you had medical advice about them, as they could well be caused by lots of things, and I don't really know what those look like they were caused by etc. But if they are causing you problems it would be worth speaking to your GP about it, as they may well be able to help or point you in the right direction for help. Thumbs Up

But there are some diagonal lines on there?

And try to stretch your arm. Not very streachy is it now, and your back is just the same, so you'd be in so much pain is that was from stretching too much and making the skin tear. I don't reckon that is from your bike riding, I reckon it's from something else, and you've noticed it hurting on your bike as the wounds are there and stretching to ride the bike agitates them more thus the pain.

I think that is your skin getting nipped/chaffed in the back of your leathers.

I get similar marks accross one shoulder and my chest off the seatbelt in my car.

You don't wear a back protector do you, could be getting pinched by the articulations in the armour?

I didn't notice you being particularly tall. Doubt it's the bike. Might just be 'growing', after all you're only like 12 or something.

Me and somone I know have had those, both of us are tall but weren't riding bikes. Never found out what caused them but they did eventually go away.

If you are bending your back you are in the wrong position, though I doubt this is causing those marks personally.

You should have a straight back if possible, with your fore arms parallel to the road. This may well mean that your upper arms are pretty muich vertical, or even angled backwards.
The rs does require a fairly extreme riding position, there’s no way I would choose the 250 for an ‘everyday’ bike, though some find it ok.

i was thinking the same thing there ... damn he must be good Wink makes me think if at a meet sometime the guys could do a full monty show for the ladies in return for the calendar ...

on a serious note take the advice, given go see your Dr it could be something else. As i don't think bending would cause stretch marks, if they are indeed stretch marks Laughing Laughing Laughing

Looks like stretch marks from growth to me, it's quite common. If you are concerned about them see your GP. The skin can do that from fairly quick growth in height or in width if you know what I mean. Wink

i've got the same, but also my bones are growing faster than my muscles (as bones do) but at a more excessive rate giving me tight muscles around my body, i put that down to a cause of it.

It could well be the arching of your back on the bike causing it, as i rode the same bikes when it happened, RS50 & RS125, now RVF400 isn't going to make it any better. But they have stopped appearing red as shown there fading to a pink scar now.

Yes, the RS could have something to do with it, as where you even slightly move your back it adjectates them, but not causing them. So just ride your bike without bending your back so as not to cause pain. And probably is a good idea to speak to your GP, as they'll be able to help you or at least tell you what caused them and put your mind at rest.
