As the title really.

Bought a cheap cg125 off my boss last week, done a bit of tinkering and she passed mot today Very Happy

Its my very first bike, I've done my mod1 but haven't done much road riding before so the trip to the mot station and back was the furthest I've ridden a bike.

And it felt awesome Twisted Evil

So its insured and mot'd, just to tax it on Monday....

It won't idle and the valve clearances need tweaked but ill sort that tomorrow. (Likely carb needs cleaned, its sat for two years)

But massive thanks for all the pointers I've got on here for all aspects of owning / riding / training!

Awaits cool story bro.......but I don't care as I'm still buzzing from riding MY bike.

Had a moment cruising along a country road on the way home, sun shining, no traffic and just thought 'I really get this'

Sounds like you have done the hard bit, passing mod 1. You should have no problem with Mod two as long as you do your lifesavers. Just get some miles on you old girl in the mean time and you should have no problem. Good luck!

Congrats mate Very Happy

I'm working on mine right now. Failed it's MOT last week, been trying to fit the work in between other things (wife ,kids, job....ect).

Ride safe and enjoy it, though I can see you already are Laughing

I know the feeling - I have to use those small windows of opportunity when the kids are asleep and the wife is watching whatever celebrity x factor jordan jungle crap is on at the minute....

What sort of bike have you got?
