We've recently had a new chimbley installed for our fancy new wood burner thing. The old one they took out was some serious piece of tubing, about 20 foot of 8mm thick steel, and I was well looking forward to using it to make some cool stuff for the bike and/or garden, and god knows what else. There was a big bunch of quality angle iron (marked for a bike jack), as well as a fair bit of copper piping too. If I were to go out and buy it all it'd probably be around £200-300 worth of metal.

Got home last night to find the pikeys have had it all away, the thieving cnuts. Evil or Very Mad

Told the old bill, not that that will do anything as from what I gather these people are always at it and rarely ever get their filthy, lice-ridden collars felt.

Still, at least they weren't recording themselves driving too fast and putting it on the net, though, eh.

Bloody stinking parasites. Not happy! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Last Thursday some kind fellows stole the gas pipes outside our flat so we haven't had gas (heating, hot water) for a week now and the housing association are doing bugger all about it.

I presume they stole the pipes to sell them, they can't have been worth much though. They'll probably steal them again when it's fixed.

An extremely expensive way to get the job done. You really want to spend that kinda money per pikey?

Mate of mine met a farmer who had some pikeys on his land, rang police, no interest, rang council, not interested either civil matter.

So he went and spoke to the pikeys, ger orf moi land by mundee, they told him to feck off.

Monday morning arrived, pikeys still on land, so he drove his digger into his field, around the back of their carvans and just started driving into them and pushing their shit out of his field and into the main road, they have never been back since Thumbs Up

The only way to deal with pikeys is to destroy their homes, fight fire with fire.

I heard a similar story after some pikeys moved in and said they were staying for 2 weeks.

He said:

"You can stay, but tomorrow I plan to dig a trench 8 foot deep, and you'll only be able to leave again when I decide to fill it back in again in a few months."

Apparently that was them gone. I suspect it may not be true though as your story sounds quite similar.

One of my neighbours is a roofer and brings all sorts of stuff back from site, some of it valuable for re-sale. He has a nightmare making sure it's still there in the morning and now has CCTV with the requisite signs. Another neighbour inisists on letting friends leave their old jallopies on a bit of land next to her house. She's rarely in and it's always my door the scallies knock on to find out if the car is for sale! I always make sure the dog makes a scene and a noise and keep the door as closed as I can so they can't have a good ogle inside the house! I also make sure I get their vehicle registration FWIW! Borrow for firewood. Return any parts that didn't burn efficiently. Capture tears on camera.

Local Chinese restaurant was burned down about 2 months ago by pikeys because they refused to pay for a shoddy paving job they done. There's no building left which is a shame as it was the more popular of the 2 local Chinese restaurants (though personally I favour t'other).

Same set of pikeys got run out of nearby Torry barely days earlier by locals who'd had enough. Just scraps though with the local nuts. Nothing was burnt there.

Update:

Turns out my neighbour's dad was home when they started to load up their van with my metal. Being a good neighbour, he came out and asked if they were allowed to take it. They said that they were.

He was still suspicious, so took the number of the van down. That has since been passed over to the old bill.

Trouble is, according to my neighbour who works as a civvy within the police, is that they rarely change the names of the original owner of their vehicles, so there's still not much chance of anyone actually getting done, or even better, me getting my metal back.

We'll see...

Thought failing to notify the DVLA of a change of ownership was a £1000 fine?

As per the rest of this shit country, these laws probably don't apply if you are a minority (a lawless gypo scumbag).
