Do you get January sales on leathers, boots, helmets etc?

Also how much cheaper do you get things at shows such as the NEC show? Which works out cheaper, waiting till a sale in Jan (if there are any) or getting at a show?

If you intend on buying ~ £700-800 worth of leathers, gloves, boots what kind of discount can you expect for buying it all at once from one place in the biking world?

At the BMF last year, i got a textiles jacket, usually worth £120ish for a tenner if that gives any perspective Razz got triumph waterproof boots for a fiver, think leathers could be had for £40ish..

I got my original set of textiles at a bike show for something less than half price - a great deal for an inexperienced newbie at the time.
I also got my previous and my current lid at demo rides / shop promos for 25% and 45% respective discounts... Thumbs Up

Just gotta keep your eyes open for your local shops and online discounts. Wink

I'd definitely go to the NEC, there's sooo much choice there.

Having hundreds of bike retailers under one roof, makes looking easy.

Seriously i've bought lots of stuff at the NEC.

Where I live, there's not much choice. The internet I suppose, but it's nice to try things on, especially if your fat like me.
