NSR250R MC16 ...... Now Mine!

Just picked up this NSR250R MC!6.
Could only get a 50 Euro reduction in price so got it for £1822.

Two owners from new, it's done 18000 kilometers, it has new tyres and new chain.
It needs a new screen, mirrors if I want them and a set of rear brake pads.

There are few chips in the fairing, but no crash damage, as far I can see, not bad considering it's 23 going on 24 years old.
There are 4 holes, (2 either side), drilled into the rear seat unit, don't know why!

It's a Japanese spec bike, so there could be a restriction on it, there is a red "Speed" light that comes on at various speeds depending what gear you're in, I ignored it once I realised it wasn't the oil light! Laughing

A gorgeous day here, 25C, so the 50 mile ride home on deserted, fast, mountain roads was gooooood! Mr. Green

My mate, following me, said there was no smoke after a couple of kilometers. Thumbs Up

Got it up to 180kmh in fifth, but ran out of straight so couldn't test the ultimate top speed.

Going to give it a good look over tomorrow, anything I should be on the look out for?

Sooo jealous...I had an MC16 in 1997. Sadly it was far too quick for inexperienced 17 year old me and got written off a couple of months later. If and when funds allow I'd love to have another.
