On this kind of subject. Has anyone tried those vapourisers ? Instead of smoke, you vapourise the stuff and inhale.

This is a classic example of advice from guys with plenty of wedge not being so suitable for skint folk.

£380 for something I might use or might not, is a bit steep.

Anyone tried the £20 ones ? How do they compare to a bong ?

lol, they're really nice to smoke but they're too expensive for what they are, hence I don't have one.

From everything I've read the cheaper ones are not as nice to smoke from and they don't last the same as the volcano ones do. If you've not smoked a vaporiser then you should get a cheap flight to Amsterdam and try them in a coffeeshop there.

I've tried a volcano a few times, always gives me a really dry throat, but otherwise they're perfect. I raved about how good vaporisers were for ages and one day met someone else who claimed to have one and agreed with me about them being perfect. His turned out to be one of those £20 ones and it really wasn't great. It failed to convert most of the weed to something you could inhale.
I've heard of people making their own using a 100w light bulb, but fuck that

What is really needed is a way of recirculating hot air over the weed rather than just a super hot surface. Burning weed destroys it, heating it is what's needed. When you smoke a splif it isn't the smoke that gets you high as thats from the destroyed weed. What gets you high is the vapour coming from the weed next to the burning bit. Hence there is no point smoking your splif down to the roach as its just smoke, no vapour.

On a trip to Amsterdam I visited the Cannabis museum and they were giving out free samples with a vapouriser. 2 pretty wee girls and myself indulged, the girls obviously wernt heavy smokers as I was at the time because I found them sitting down outside the museum with eyes like piss holes in the snow.

Myself, I happily wandered around the red light district with a big cheesy grin on my face.

Over priced as they may be but they do work wonders.

Maybe I'm just bitter that I've not smoked anything for over 5 months after a daily habit of grass and tobacco, but it just seems a bit look at me I smoke weed I'm cool.
