So Rossi's done a bit of testing with both duc' engines now, which do you think he'll end up with, and why???

Personally, i think he'll go with the screamer engine - because i think he'll feel like he's got something to prove by "mastering" the more volatile engine, although he first chose to test the big bang engine, leading me to think that would probably have been his first choice pre testing.

He tamed the RC211V which didn't have a 'big bang' layout as I understand it, although he did well on the 'big bang' NSRs. I think he will choose the best engine for him, rather than trying to prove something based on what sort of engine he uses. If he were to pick an engine for the wrong reasons then he's already lost IMO.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Bah, you beat me to it. Razz The impression after the Valencia test was that the screamer would be shoved into the back of a cupboard somewhere in Bologna, never to be seen again.

He'll go for whichevers fastest. Why would he make things difficult for himself?

Rossi's always seemed to have favoured drivability as opposed to sheer outright power, his test and setup on the WSB R1 demonstrated that perfectly. I'd be surprised if the 800cc screamer duke is ever seen again tbh.
