So, has anyone noticed that all they're doing is pissing off car bound commuters and not actually doing anything against the councilors themselves. I can't see how the protest is even remotely going to succeed.

Since my bike meeting tree incident I've been driving in and listening to the radio. They don't even mention the reason behind the protests, just quickly mention the increased traffic around Trafalgar Square and mention bikers in a derisory tone.

My advice - give up hurting your fellow commuters, it's harming the image of bikers (we don't want any more drivers acting like dicks towards us!) and think of some way to get at the people you're actually pissed off with. </2pence>

I agree with you, but why post this here? It'll just kick off another flamefest. The NTBPT brigade are over there if you want to get a lecture on why it's a point of principle, they've tried everything else, it's the thin end of the wedge, fight them on the beaches, and so on.

Note that they're now "assisting" NSL camera cars to be the visible deterrents that they're supposed to be - for some reason they keep parking behind vans. This is proving to be pretty popular with drivers and residents, and actually looks like quite good fun.

Shhh! Just don't say it three times or they'll apear!

Sadly it seems they have no interest in any opinion country to what they are doing is amazing and will result in everyone loving bikers for being campaigning knights of justice! Wink

I believe despite some claims not to in the past, they have now made it fairly clear that their forum is only for people that specifically support pretty much everything they do.

Despite Rogerborg's claim, from what I've seen they've tried relatively little and came to the conclusion their current tactics were correct from a kinda raged-based processes, rather than clear thought about how they can achieve their objectives, never mind any kind of 'morality'.

However, can't hurt to try and ask, worst that can happen is you get banned Smile.

Surely you jest, they wouldn't ban people for just having a different opinion Wink

Now, now, I only told you what you'd hear - I'm not making any claim as to the veracity of it. Wink
