I'm a student, work part time, I'd like to make a bit of money buying and selling things for more, or just make some easy extra cash on the side.

Can anybody reccomend some good items that can be bought cheap and sold for more.

Thankyou,

Tim.

If it was that simple everyone would do it, and if someone knows a way, they ain't gonna tell everyone.

Which is why all get rich quick schemes are bollocks.

4 ways to make money

Sell a good e.g. items you have, can buy cheap sell on.

Sell a service e.g. a job

Gambling whether it is cards or the stock market.

Illegal stuff e.g. drugs, crime etc.

Not cars or bikes unless you're mechanically competent.

Sickpup on here sells bits and bobs on ebay, and he recommended selling large volumes of low value items, such as nuts and bolts or whatever.

Reason being, if mark up on a high value item is 100%, it pays to shop around and people will prefer to get the price down.

If the item is cheap, people dont mind paying 100% mark up as its only a few quid and they cant be bothered.

So items normally supplied in bulk, that people only tend to want a few of, may be a good bet, like nuts and bolts, or something on those lines.

My mate at work makes good money buying clothes in bulk from China and selling them individually on ebay. I can't be arsed with the hassle.

I'm thinking of doing dog walking at the weekends and when my scumbag of a husband buys me out of here and I can buy somewhere else, I plan to have a lodger to supplement my income/lifestyle.

Think about your assets/skills and what you can do with them. I guess if you're a looker you can always take that literally Wink
