I have disliked the stuff all my long life, I would eat it but could never see the point but no way would I buy it. Last week I was thinking about what to grow in the garden next year and for some reason lettuce came to mind, then I heard a reference to lettuce and peanut butter on toast and I wanted. I bought two Baby Gem and am loving the lettuce, I think about it all the time and sneak to the fridge for a nibble.
Lettuce is made of win, all of the years I wasted Sad
Could I be pregnant?

My sandwich for the morning was a perfectly good Blue Shropshire on Granary Baguette with onion manwich but now I have filled it with tomatoes and lettuce and made it gay. I so want my breakfast sanger now Sad

Quote:
Lettuce is a low calorie food and is a source of vitamin A and folic acid. Lactucarium (or “Lettuce Opium”) is a mild opiate-like substance that is contained in all types of lettuce. Both the Romans and Egyptians took advantage of this property by eating lettuce at the end of a meal to induce sleep.[9]

Tut Tut People Enraged by the Eating of Vegetables and the Vegetable Liberation Front both say that eating lettuce is murder.

Absolute manwich fail.

Firstly, there is no meat in it.*
Secondly, it contained vegetables.

I believe you actually made a homwich.

* I am aware that you're a vegetarian (like Adolf Hitler), but a manwich must contain at least one sort of meat. Cheese in a manwich is acceptable, but only as a calorie/stodge enhancer, it cannot be the main ingredient.

Lettuce is good but not on its own. Either salad with a decent French dressing or sandwhich with beef or lamb or something.

Was going to suggest proton pack, but that is illogical as they deal in SOULS.

Soylent Green should be made out of people who eat lettuce. For the vitamins and such.

My wife stir fries lettuce, which makes me hate it even more.

I think you're confusing eradication with entertainment there.
