ive just ordered the veho muvi.. done alot of research and for the price its awesome and its very very small. only downsides are. 1 its not water proof but you can mount it inside your lid and also comes with a silcone case so that will help.
2 its not HD but how often will you be watching the recordings on a big screen?

My el cheapo one from ebay (veho clone) does the job, cost 12.99 quite impressed thus far.
