Can't quite understand why the passenger gets done for dangerous driving as well. It's just stupid.

Didn't realise you could get banned from driving when only being a passenger. Better not get in a car with any one now in case they speed. Wouldn't want to lose my licence.

Another good reminder that being blatant about doing illegal things and showing the entire world isn't a great idea.
Anyone obviously shouting about doing big silly stuff is generally either a liar, or on their way to getting caught.

I'm still irked that people such as this get done, yet easily traceable government sanctioned people get to record and show their dodgy driving to the majority of the British public and a lot of the rest of the world

what really boils my blood is the fact that ok they were acting like knobheads but they were insured and the cars had mots & tax.

Get a pull for no insurance mot & tax and all you get is a £200 fine a few points on a non existent licence and 100 hours community service (used a mate as an example)

The punishment system in this country is crazy

What im saying is a mate (or dickhead) decided to buy a cheap car for a couple of hundred quid rag about in it for months like a complete loon then got a pull. all he got was car taken off him 100 hours community service and a £200 he didnt even have a licence to put any points on.

IMO he should of got a lot more than that considering those guys got 300 hours community for doing 90 on a nice long coastroad. Not really the most dangerous of stunts is it.
I dont even think they actually did 90 the C series clocks read way over at anything over 50mph. 7mph over on the GFs C3.




As for you no insurance comment yes i think if someone hasn't renewed by even 5 minutes and goes out on the road they should have the book thrown at them. People dont intend to crash thats why its called an accident. I would be pretty pissed if someone hit me and it turned out a day before the accident their insurance had ran out because they FORGOT to renew it leaving me with a write off bike/car.

And yes, just because they are making it sound all dangerous doesn't actually mean it is. Shows rather a lack of understanding of 'videos' never mind 'internet videos' if they believe this to be the case.

It's also irksome that prosecution always rests of speedos, which are well known to over-read.

Totally unable to stop in the distance they can see

able to make sound and accurate judgements on the road conditions? Based on their lack of ability to make a sound judgement on thinking it would be fun to do 90 in a 40, and then post it all over the internet, makes me think that they would be unable to make any other sound judgements.

It's people like this, that will end up causing driving age to increase, and in my opinion, there are a lot of 17 year olds I know with a license, that I wouldn't consider mature enough to drive a car. Crazy!

No, in answer to your question.
But some of your points I can presume are just guess work in relation to this case and some I suspect are just entirely false.

There are a lot of 45 year olds I've met with a licence that I wouldn't trust to drive a car too.

I've seen plenty of people make good judgements in some areas, but terrible ones in others.

Further, you will note my questions were general ones, I was not commenting on this case specifically I think.
