Mytyres or blackcircles are usually competitive. Worth getting a price from a bike shop, but it is rarely competitive unless they are a tyre specialist.

I do indeed Pat, but i dont do 'mail order' - The suppliers caught on that too many people were drop shipping tyres on ebay from their bedrooms and thus they will only deliver tyres i order to my address.
By the time i send them on there is just no profit in it.

But for people local to Malvern i can do excellent prices, i would go as far to say cheaper than anywhere in the uk...

cant offer advice on where to get tyres from, but is there a reason you specifically want storm2's? i only ask as i've got some on my bike ATM, and though i think they're brilliant in the dry - i find them utterly pants in the wet... definately not the tyre's i'd choose have on the bike coming into winter if i had any money to change em' ! Thumbs Up

Profile Tyres are brilliant, but they are in Southampton. By the time you've ridden there, it might be cheaper to do it somewhere closer to home!! Smile

I expect by the time timbo has paid for the tyres postage and fitting it will be more than just getting some locally.

I'll write that down as I need a pair for my Bros 400 for MOT, when I've got my test done in a couple of weeks. I've also been recommended Micheldever in Winchester. I'll get a quote from both.

FWR in Kennington do ridiculously cheap tyres. And they have tryes ranging from "fuck it, i just want something covering my rims, black cloth will do" to "i want the best of the best".

I know a few guys that drive down in a van, and buy 4 or 5 sets at a time. They also do a ride in and ride out service where you wait an average of 40 mins while they fit. Thats where i get mine done!

Give them a ring, they'll give you a quote. Their webiste is shit and doesn't do them justice. Ring them. Their range is much bigger. Not sure if its anywhere near you though.

I used www.sticky-stuff.co.uk earlier this year and got them fitted locally about £20 cheaper than buying them from the tyre shop. I got next day delivery FOC, very impressed and will use them again.
