Iv heard some rumours of the following bikes which are very likely to be put in production by aprilia! have any of you guys?

rs125 ditech, rs250 ditech & RSV 450 ??

dont think anything concrete is set with the aprilia/ducati deal but its in the pipeline, ducati CEO says he wants to keep the aprilia logo and brand and help it compete in the markets where its opted out of like 600's, 750's etc. some nice competition on the horizon!

Hi

Aprilia have had financial problems, and Ducati are looking at buying them. I think there is very little chance of Aprilia going out of business.

Not sure what effect it will have if Ducati take over, although I suspect it will be the final nail in the coffin of the Laverda name. Most likely the ideas from years ago of building a sports 600 (and no doubt other sports bikes) using Japanese 4 cylinder engines will be brought back.

aprilia today have officially rejected ducatis proposal of support-where now for aprilia!
