Hello, i have a speedfight 2 and have just recently put a new engine in as i blew the other 1. it was 5 for about 2 days and now, it jiggers like its getting the last bit of petrol, it revs its balls off and only does about 15mph and starts shaking, it cleaned the carb, and the auto choke is fine. i just don't know what's wrong with it, can,

ANYONE HELP ME?!!!!

Sounds like you've got an issue with the variator, have you been adding 'sports' rollers and the like.

Its a standard engine, as i got a new1 fitted and thought i aint messing around with sporting it up, apart from the exhaust, which is a sports one. so everything is standard but the exhaust, ive cleaned the carb, well my mates dad did and said the carbs cleaned. then today was my first time on it since he 'cleaned' it it was okay for abit, and then started cutting down to 15mph, so i stopped, turned it off, waited couple of mins and was fine, n then bwt 5 mins later, did it again. :/.

Good point.

I know nothing about jetting really.

When I bought my exhaust I just rang up PJME and did what they recommended and it seems fine at the mo'.

do you mean when you first set off,or after a while riding ?

Its fine setting off, just standing acceleration, but its after bwt 10-20 mins of riding all of a sudden it like revs, stops revving, revs, stops, revs, it just constantly does that. so thats when it starts jiggerin because it revs and slows n revs n slows. but its sticks at around 10-15mph. and then i wait for abit and then start it up, but the second time, it does it like after 5 mins of riding. :/

It should have a rubber flap coming from the bottom of the seat bucket that stops water getting to the plug cap. Sometimes this gets removed which causes all kinds of problems.
