Good luck mate. Just be nice to the examiner. Remember every look, lifesaver and keep the speed limits. Overtake if nescessary and try not to hesitate too much.

You'll be fine

Yeah, Good Luck mate Very Happy

Just stay cool (ok, easier said than done Smile) and make sure that you exaggerate your mirror checks (tuck your shoulders in and move your head more, so that your examiner can see your checks...hmm...I still do exaggerated checks Confused)
...check your mirrors before drastic changes of speed...so when you're either braking, or winding the throttle up on the dual carriageway, have a quick look in your mirrors.

Lifesavers - do them whenever you change road position or turning. Try not to go over-happy with them, or you get done for not concentrating enough on the road ahead.

having just failed, i can say, refer to page 42 of the highway code, and make sure you know the procudure for turning right at a crossroads

cos i did what the second pics shows, and your sposed to do what the first pic indicates, so you can see the road ahead,

other than that, stay calm, cancel your indicators, and stick to the speed limit, under no circumstances break it

Like TIn said - just exaggerate EVERYTHING, like show your brake lights at speed limit changes (even if you're doing the new speed - i.e. 40 -> 30 etc etc )

Be nice to the examiner, don't give them reason to fail. Stay cool - you can probably ride better than is necessary. Oh, of course GOOD LUCK!!!

when travelling down the road look behind parked cars for kids that could suddenly emerge look at junctions you pass it lets the examiner know you are looking for hazards eg your travelling in a 30 zone BUT ... there are double parked cars adjust your speed to say 20mph this lets the examiner see uve adjusted to a hazard so if a person mainly children do suddenly walk out its easier to stop stuff like this impresses the examiner
hope i havent baffled u with to much

strange- I got three for that as well!

and 1 other for 'Lane Discipline'- I was on a dual carriage way turning right at an approaching roundabout and he says I didn't get into the right lane soon enough. I didn't wanta get in too early cos my test bike only did 55!

I passed with 1 minor, I didn't slow down quick enough coming off the dual carriageway into a 40 zone, the examiner obviously wanted a stoppie as I went past the '40' signpost Twisted Evil

I got 3 minors:-
1)I pulled over too close to a bus lane when he told me to stop.

2)The SR125 i was on was shit (not making excuses ther really are Smile ) and slipped into neutral from 1st at a junction.

3)There was a gap in traffic at a round about and i didnt take it...eh? im not gonna jump into any gaps on a bike that barely does 60 down a flat.

personally i put two down to not knowing the bike well enough/the bikes are shite.

the minor for pulling near a bus stop was just me not giving a damn. He did say "In an appropriate place" but where i stopped WAS an appropriate place considering we were stoping for 15 seconds max.

but i dont care really it was my first test im not gonna be perfect.
