https://shop.ebay.co.uk/outlet1900/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
seem very cheap but anyone heard of the make before?
I have ordered some kevelar reinforced jeans for £35 so will see how they are .
edit just checked the link and they are all auctions, but I emailed about different sizes and he put a bin up at £35

Cheap, I am on the look out for a pair of bike jeans myself so I will be interested in your opinion of them when they arrive.

My concerns would be with the stitching rather than the amount of or quality of the Kevlar pieces, does the knee armour come included?

That'll be interesting. I bought a pair of Hood jeans for around £90 which use para-amid or something, instead of Kevlar. After about six months the denim is starting to wear and a couple of holes have formed in places. I'm sure the lining is fine but I'm annoyed by the jeans bit!

Just noticed that too Shocked
It all has to start somewhere, but I think I'd rather pay a little extra and get a recognised name, with some confidence in the product.

Ahh Road Masters..I bought a pair of them about 5 months ago and so far they seem pretty good.
The only fault was the rivet button, it came off (and not because the jeans were too tight!). I just put my own on, nothing else has gone wrong and the stitching seems okay.
That being said I haven't had an off on them, and the stitching could go after a few months more, can't tell but seems solid enough.
The button may have been just a dodgy batch rather than a brand issue, but even so..I picked them up for less than £30 at the time so putting my own button on was no issue.
I'm going to leave it until next year and if they hold out that long I'll buy more Smile

A cheap brand I will fully endorse is Mohar I crashed in a pair of them and no road rash Very Happy Can't find a UK supplier now though Sad

I thought that, might go try a few pairs on at the weekend. The top lot look a bit Simon Cowell but the second lot look ok.

Right,

Not only have the items received POS feedback, they are also available in custom sizes ... and back in stock NOW ...you just have contact the seller and state waist and leg lenght ....

These WILL go QUICK .... i have had to buy a pair as a must ...

I think the seller has found a market to exploit in the current climate, perhaps buying Kevlar in bulk and making them himself ..

Basically in your preffered size, new and delivered for just a tad over 40 quid ... hop on BCF ... Cool

Thumbs Up Karma Smile

Are you the seller by any chance? if so, do we get a guarantee/discount? Laughing

So you are the seller and have no other interest in this forum other than spamming your wares?

Thanks for the heads up, but I don't waste my time with eBay auctions for new gear. There's always some muppet who'll snipe an insane bid at the last moment.
