If I had money and it snowed lots then maybe but it would need to be modified. The seat, tank, forks, handlebars should be able to lean leaving the engine and rear track vertical. Just make it very slightly suspended to give a nice feel.

If it was shaft drive you could have it so whole bike pivoted but the track could keep traction.

You could do that with a chain drive too. It would work something like hub centre steering, but rotating about the Z axis instead of the Y. The sprocket would be attached to the axle and the rear end by a universal joint.

I'm just envisaging torque reaction, and that whole track assembly whipping around rather than the track turning!

Err... I think I'll let some-one not so fond of thier tackle, test ride that one!

Those track units can be fitted to quads so they are like a snowmobile.
Ours is struggling now with snow near two feet is too much for it.
