Can i claim from the council?

Ok its been snowing here for the past 4 days, every day ive been doing a 7 mile commute to the girlfriends and its been fine, but last night i got caught out and slid front first into a curb thus breaking my lovely fairing on my nsr i spent weeks sanding and spraying and possibly broken my foot, the road is 100% ungritted! there was more grit in my ears than on that stretch of road, a semi major a road.

Can i claim off the council to get my fairing replaced? or for an injury

awaits comments such as "twat you shouldnt be out in the snow"

You want to claim against the council because you drove on a road that was covered in snow not knowing if it was gritted or not?

That is read as: "I don't want to man up and accept I did something wrong so I'm going to go play the blame game and try and get some cash out of it."

If you cared about the NSR so much you shouldn't have taken it out in such dangerous conditions.

It's your own fault, take some responsibility, it's people like you that propagate this ridiculous blame and claim culture that up insurance premiums for everyone. .

In his defence it is what we pay counsil tax for, and road tax.... but erm I slid this week and in my eyes its my stupid fault, bit the bullet and repaired my bike and now ride around like a girl .... just learn from it.
