Well...
for those of you who have followed my not-too-steady progress alone on-road after passing my CBT....
TODAY WAS GREAT!!! Thumbs Up

I mean...I rode...to Hinckley..where my lesson is tomorrow night...no problems...taking big roundabouts..mini roundabouts...junctions...(DID NOT STALL BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!)....

kept up to speed limits..no-one overtook me.....kept my 'ground' in the lane...

AND guys...
FILLED THE BIKE UP WITH PETROL !!!
Eh Eh ???? Laughing

Take that!! haha Laughing

God...my confidence has SOARED....

Yesterday must have been a bad day....

If cars were behind me...SO WHAT..I was doing the limit or JUST under...DEAL WITH IT!!! I was calm...

(I feel) I did not make any mistakes today...
did lifesavers...felt good...maybe looked good too.....

I am NOT going to lull myself in to a false state of cockiness and confidence but I DID have a good day !!

THANKS to all my mates here who helped me so much with faith and self confidence and esteem-building!!!

I could NOT have done it without you all !!

This is my 3rd day since I got my bike and each day when I get to work or home (whichever way I'm going) I get off my bike with a big grin on my face - it's so enjoyable isn't it!! Thumbs Up

I am going to push myself to do my 'problem areas' now such as busy junctions and roundabouts.
I need more speed on the roundabouts...but don't feel comfy turning tight doing so...
I guess it will all come with experience.

I am riding to Hinckley again tonight for my lesson!!!!
