I've been working on a Varadero 125 with a knackered engine.
Someone must have run it out of oil so have bought a decent second hand engine, got it fitted and running and all is well except the cooling system.

Please could someone advise me of what coolant I should use and if there is anything I need to be aware of to bleed the system - is there an air release hidden somewhere or can I just tip it in and go?!

is there not a nut you need to undo to allow the liquid to drain out! BTW the person who ran it out of oil is a tit :-p

Not sure if its the same, but the CBR125 takes 1L of coolant, just fill it from the radiator with stated amount and check to see the pipes are getting hot.

Should be fine, just redid the CBR.

When you have filled it, give it some blips with the throttle, and then give the pipes a few squeezes, usually helps force the air to the top of the system
