Very little known fact about me is that, I can infact play the Violin rather well thanks to a ex teaching me religiously lol.

Was good fun, and even got and electric one.

Wish I could afford another and learn to play again.

Whilst I play guitar and don't know that much about violin, something seems off.
Drums are without a doubt real, but some of the violin not so sure on, at certain points you can hear 2 violins being played, but only one being played visually, and the harmonics section again seems completely off.

It is almost if the violins were recorded separately, then mixed together then played and "air violined" with real drums, I have no doubt that these two can play the violin to an extremely high level, but the video and the musics doesn't sync visually to my hearing, even if it was out of sync by a bit, the actions almost seem fake.

Still good though, although I am going to Google SOAD, sure they split up, never really liked them to be fair.

They are Electric Violins, pretty much the same as Guitars.

They can provide an amazing array of sound, from classic to gituar. Just got to have the right amp.

IIRC I used to play a 3/4 size because I have short arms. I could play Kill Switch Engage on it. Cost me about £300 mind.

I know they can make the different sounds, just the harmonics are something you can''t make up, and the natural harmonics in this sound to high to be played where they are being played.

up to 45 seconds, the hand movements and musics are in time, then look at 45 seconds in, there the one girl is playing the intro part, but there is backing violin on the go at the same time.

1.15-1.25 the one is playing the main riff, and the other the lryics but in harmonics, and the harmonics are wrong, then the bit after where the blonde goes really high, that is similar pitch/note to the harmonics, but she is playing that way down the neck, if you are playing a harmonic, regardless of where it is, it is the same note just the pitch is higher, yet the other has managed to create similar note harmonics in a different area.

It may just be me though, but something is definitely off, I wont dispute the talent though.

Also I think the best part of playing violin was when me and said ex was playing together. She was using my electric, and I was on her's.

One of the strings snapped and twanged her across the face. Metal string + Cheek = Ouch
